Past Examination papers can be accessed through the following steps: -

  • Step 1: Visit the EASA library website link address https://library.easa.ac.ke/ by conducting a search in your desired web browser.
  • Step 2: While on the EASA library webpage, select the EASA Digital Repository tab.
  • Step 3: Once on the library repository webpage, click on the past examination papers community link to open up the past paper repository
  • Step 4: Type the preferred past paper title name or code that you require to search the database
  • Step 5: Sample the various past papers through clicking on the Open/View link tab
  • Step 6: Download the past papers for your revision

GUIDE TO ACCESSING ELECTRONIC RESOURCES

Electronic resources can be accessed through the following steps: -

  • Step 1: Visit the EASA Library Website through https://library.easa.ac.ke/
  • Step 2: Once on the library webpage click on the Electronic Resources link found on the navigation bar.
  • Step 3: From the drop down menu select either eJournals or eBooks by clicking on the link.
  • Step 4: Select your preferred eJournal or eBook from the list provided
  • Step 5: Explore and cite articles of interest to avoid plagiarism

GUIDE TO SELF-RENEWAL OF BOOKS

Self-renewal of information resources can be accomplished through the following steps: -

  • Step 1: Visit the EASA Library Webpage and click on the Library catalogue.
  • Step 2: Log into your library account using your credentials.
  • Step 3: Go to My Account tab and click on Renew Books link
  • Step 4: Once opened, books borrowed in your possession will be displayed.
  • Step 5: Click on the information materials you intend to renew and note the new due dates.

USER GUIDE FOR THE LIBRARY CATALOGUE

The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is accessible through the following steps: -

  • Step 1: Visit the EASA Library Webpage and click on the Library catalogue.
  • Step 2: Once on the Library Catalogue click on the Search Box.
  • Step 3: Conduct search with one field at a time e.g. Title, Author, Subject. You do not have to type in the whole title. You can type one word or two words of the title.
  • Step 4: When you use the author field please do not abbreviate, use one name of the author. You may also opt to combine a word from the title and a name of the author.
  • Step 5: Once you have typed in your request /search query press enter key to retrieve the record.
  • Step 6: Navigate by scrolling to identify the record you are looking for and note the call number of the book e.g. 348.3 GRE 2013, the section where the book is to be found e.g. Open shelves section, Reference section or Circulation Desk.
  • Step 7: Write the call number proceed to the shelves section to retrieve the book. In case of any difficulty, approach a librarian for assistance.

GUIDE TO EXTERNAL LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP

EASA Library is open to a limited number of external library users who are members of the public. To obtain membership, the following steps are required: -

  • Step 1: Visit the EASA Library Building and register your library membership either at the information desk or circulation desk.
  • Step 2: Proceed and make payment through eCitizen using MPESA. Membership categories include: Daily Rates 100/=; Monthly Rates 600/=; and Annual Rates 2,000/=.
  • Step 3: For Monthly and Annual Rates, a gate pass will be issued for use in accessing the library.
  • Step 4: External library users are exempted from borrowing information materials. Enjoy our ambient reading areas, vast collection of information materials and good internet connectivity for your recreation and research needs.
